BASIC INFORMATION:

  1. When making a purchase through our websites, commenting on an entry, subscribing to the newsletter, or contacting us, you provide us with your personal data. Your data will remain confidential, secure and will not be made available to any third parties without your express consent.
  2. We entrust the processing of personal data only to trusted third parties providing services related to the processing of personal data.

  5. We provide the opportunity to use social features, such as sharing content on social networking sites and subscribing to a social profile.   6. On our websites you can find videos from YouTube or audio recordings from SoundCloud. For this purpose, cookies from Google LLC for the YouTube service and cookies from Soundcloud Limited are used. Cookies are only loaded when the video/audio is played.
  7. We use the Disqus comment system, which uses cookies. As part of the cookie settings, you can decide whether you consent to the use of Disqus cookies in your case.
  8. I use my own cookies for the proper functioning of the website.

RIGHT:

The GDPR grants you the following potential rights related to the processing of your personal data: the right to access personal data, the right to rectify personal data, the right to delete personal data, the right to limit the processing of personal data, the right to object to the processing of personal data, the right to data transfer, the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, the right to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data, if you have given such consent.

The rules related to the implementation of the indicated rights are described in detail in Art. 16 – 21 GDPR. The rights indicated above are not absolute and you will not be entitled to all processing activities of your personal data.

Security.

We guarantee the confidentiality of all personal data provided to us. We ensure that all security and personal data protection measures required by personal data protection regulations are taken. Personal data is collected with due care and adequately protected against access by unauthorized persons.

Data recipients

Your data may be processed by subcontractors, i.e. third parties whose services we use to process data and provide services to you or fulfill orders, and these are especially

  1. H88 S.A. – to store personal data on the mailbox server and website
  2. Google LLC – in order to use Google services, e.g. Google Analytics, Google Drive, GSuite
  3. The Rocket Science Group LLC d/b/a MailChimp – in order to use the MailChimp system in which your personal data is processed, if you subscribe to the newsletter,
  4. Entities collecting debts
  5. Partners providing technical and IT services
  6. Entities providing accounting, tax and legal services
  7. Postal operators, carriers and couriers to send correspondence.

The above-mentioned entities guarantee the use of appropriate protection and security measures for personal data required by law.

Due to the use of services of foreign entities that do not belong to the European Union (e.g. Google), your data may be transferred to the country of their headquarters or the headquarters of their server, guaranteeing an adequate level of personal data protection required by European regulations.

Purposes and processing activities

Orders

When placing an order, you must provide the data necessary to complete the order, such as name and surname, billing address, e-mail address. If you place an order as part of your business activity, you must provide the company name, registered office address and NIP number. Providing data is voluntary, but necessary to place an order.

The data provided in connection with the order is processed for the purposes of:

  1. implementation of the service sales process and execution of concluded contracts (Article 6(1)(b) and (c) of the GDPR),
  2. archiving (evidential purposes) in the event of a legal need to prove facts, which is the legitimate interest of the Administrator, and for statistical purposes (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR),
  3. possible determination, investigation or defense against claims that pursue the legitimate interest of the Administrator (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).

Data storage period

Order data will be processed for the time necessary to complete the order and then until the limitation period for claims under the concluded contract expires. Moreover, after this deadline, the data may still be processed for statistical purposes. Please also remember that I am obliged to store invoices with your personal data for a period of 5 years from the end of the tax year in which the tax obligation arose.

Customers’ personal data will be stored for the period:

  1. for the time necessary to complete the order, and then until the limitation period for claims under the concluded contract expires. Moreover, after this deadline, the data may still be processed for statistical purposes. Additionally, we are obliged to store invoices with your personal data for a period of 5 years from the end of the tax year in which the tax obligation arose.
  2. resulting from the deadlines specified in the Act of June 30, 2000, industrial property law (Journal of Laws of 2017, item 776); European Patent Convention, Regulations on EU Trademarks and Designs
  3. implementation of the sales process – for a period of 5 years from the end of the year in which the service was sold,
  4. archival purposes – for the period necessary to achieve this purpose,
  5. establishing, pursuing or defending against claims – for the period necessary to achieve this purpose.

Rights and obligations

  1. In the case of order data, you cannot correct this data after completing the order.
  2. You cannot object to the processing of your data or demand that your data be deleted until the limitation period for claims under the concluded contract expires.
  3. You cannot object to the processing of your data and request the deletion of data contained in invoices.
  4. After the limitation period for claims under the concluded contract has expired, you may object to the processing of your data for statistical purposes, as well as request that your data be deleted from my database.
  5. you have the right to request access to your data, rectification, deletion or limitation of processing.
  6. you have the right to object to the processing and the right to transfer data; the right to object does not apply to situations when data processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party or to take action at the request of the data subject before concluding the contract, nor does it apply to situations when processing is necessary to fulfill the obligation legal obligation imposed on the administrator.
  7. you have the right to withdraw your consent to data processing at any time, in the case of data processed on the basis of consent

In relation to order data, you have the right to transfer data referred to in Art. 20 GDPR.

Newsletter

If you want to subscribe to the newsletter, you must provide your e-mail address and (although not always) your name via the newsletter subscription form. Providing data is voluntary, but necessary to subscribe to the newsletter.

The data provided when subscribing to the newsletter is used to send the newsletter, and the legal basis for their processing is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR) expressed when subscribing to the newsletter.

The data will be processed for the duration of the newsletter, unless you unsubscribe from receiving it earlier, which will result in the data being deleted from the database.

You can correct your data saved in the newsletter database at any time, as well as request their removal by unsubscribing from the newsletter. You also have the right to transfer data referred to in Art. 20 GDPR.

Contact

When contacting us via e-mail, you naturally provide us with your e-mail address as the sender’s address. In addition, you can also include other personal data in the message. Providing data is voluntary, but necessary to establish contact.

In this case, your data is processed for the purpose of contacting you, and the basis for processing is Art. 6 section 1 letter a GDPR, i.e. your consent resulting from initiating contact. The legal basis for processing after the end of contact is the justified purpose of archiving correspondence for the purpose of demonstrating its progress in the future (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).

The content of correspondence may be archived and we do not clearly specify when it will be deleted. You have the right to request the history of your correspondence with us (if it was archived), as well as to request its deletion, unless its archiving is justified due to our overriding interest, e.g. defense against potential legal claims.

Comments

If you want to add a comment to blog entries, you must complete the form and provide your e-mail address and name. Providing data is voluntary, but necessary to add a comment.

The comment system is operated by Disqus Inc., 301 Howard Street, Suite 300, San Francisco, CA94105, USA. Disqus is an independent administrator of your personal data, and the use of the system is based on your acceptance of the regulations for the provision of services by Disqus.

The data provided when adding a comment is used to publish a comment on the blog, and the legal basis for their processing is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR) resulting from adding a comment.

The data will be processed for the duration of the comments’ existence on the blog, unless you request the comment to be deleted first, which will result in your data being deleted from the database.

You can correct your data assigned to a comment at any time, as well as request its removal. You also have the right to transfer data referred to in Art. 20 GDPR. You can exercise these rights directly within your user account in the Disqus system.

Cookies and other tracking technologies

Cookies

Cookies – also called cookies – are small files stored by a web browser on a computer, telephone, tablet, smartwatch and other such devices. Using cookies is completely safe. They cannot infect your computer with a virus. They do not provide access to the user’s private documents or photos. They do not steal access passwords or any personal data saved on the computer. Other website users do not have access to your cookies. They can be read by our own IT system (own cookies) or the IT system of third parties (third-party cookies).

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. We carry out activities in this area based on our legitimate interests: creating statistics, analyzing data in order to optimize the website.

Google Analytics automatically collects information about your use of our website. The information collected in this way is most often transferred to servers in the United States and stored there.

Some IP addresses are anonymized – shortened before being forwarded. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transferred to a Google server in the United States and shortened there. The anonymized IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is generally not combined with other Google data.

Due to the fact that Google LLC is based in the USA and uses technical infrastructure located in the USA, it has joined the EU-US-Privacy Shield program in order to ensure an adequate level of personal data protection required by European regulations. As part of the agreement between the US and the European Commission, the latter established an adequate level of data protection for companies certified with the Privacy Shield.

Facebook Pixel

We use marketing tools available on Facebook and provided by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave. Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA. As part of these tools, we direct ads to you on Facebook. We carry out activities in this area based on our legitimate interests in the marketing of our own products or services.

In order to target you with advertisements personalized in terms of your behavior on our website, Facebook Pixel has been implemented on our website, which automatically collects information about your use of our website in terms of pages viewed. The information collected in this way is most often transferred to a Facebook server in the United States and stored there.

The information collected as part of Facebook Pixel is anonymous, i.e. it does not allow me to identify you. I only know what actions you have taken on my site. However, we would like to inform you that Facebook may combine this information with other information about you collected as part of your use of the Facebook website and use it for its own purposes, including marketing. Such Facebook activities are no longer dependent on us, and you can find information about them directly in Facebook’s privacy policy: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/explanation. You can also manage your privacy settings from your Facebook account.

Social tools

Our website uses plug-ins and other social tools provided by social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google, LinkedIN.

By displaying our website containing such a plug-in, your browser will establish a direct connection to the servers of the administrators of social networking sites (service providers). The content of the plug-in is transferred by the given service provider directly to your browser and integrated with the website. Thanks to this integration, service providers receive information that your browser has displayed our website, even if you do not have a profile with a given service provider or are not currently logged in to it. This information (along with your IP address) is sent by your browser directly to the server of a given service provider (some servers are located in the USA) and stored there.

If you have logged in to one of the social networking sites, the service provider will be able to directly assign your visit to our website to your profile on a given social networking site.

If you use a given plug-in, e.g. by clicking the „Like” or „Share” button, the appropriate information will also be sent directly to the server of the given service provider and stored there.

In addition, this information will be published on a given social networking site and will appear to people added as your contacts. The purpose and scope of data collection and its further processing and use by service providers, as well as the possibility of contact and your rights in this regard and the possibility of making settings to protect your privacy are described in the privacy policy of individual service providers.

Video and audio

We embed videos from YouTube and/or audio recordings from SoundCloud on websites. For this purpose, cookies from Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA regarding the YouTube service and cookies from SoundCloud Limited are used. Cookies are loaded only when video or audio is played. If you do not agree to upload them, refrain from playing the video or audio.

When you play a video or audio, Google or SoundCloud receives information about it, even if you do not have a Google or SoundCloud profile or are not currently logged in. This information (along with your IP address) is sent by your browser directly to the server of a given service provider (some servers are located in the USA) and stored there.

If you have logged in to Google, the service provider will be able to directly assign the video playback on my website to your Google profile. The purpose and scope of data collection and its further processing and use by the service provider, as well as the possibility of contact and your rights in this regard and the possibility of making settings to protect your privacy are described in Google’s privacy policy.

If you do not want Google to assign the data collected during video playback directly to your profile on a given website, you must log out of that website before visiting our website. You can also completely prevent plug-ins from being loaded on the website by using appropriate extensions for your browser, e.g. script blocking.

We use the Disqus system to handle comments on the blog. This involves the use of cookies from Disqus Inc. Server logs

Using the website involves sending queries to the server where the website is stored. Each query sent to the server is saved in the server logs.

Logs include, among others: Your IP address, server date and time, information about the web browser and operating system you are using. Logs are saved and stored on the server.

The data saved in the server logs is not associated with specific people using the website and is not used by us to identify you.

Server logs are only auxiliary material used to administer the website, and their content is not disclosed to anyone other than persons authorized to administer the server.

What personal information is collected and used on our website(s)?

Users of our websites remain anonymous until they decide otherwise. The information contained in system logs (e.g. IP address) resulting from the general principles of Internet connections is used by us for technical purposes related to the administration of our servers.

In addition, IP addresses are used to collect general, statistical demographic information (e.g. about the region from which the connection is made). Subscribing to the services we offer, such as e-mail or VoD, requires completing a form in which you must provide information enabling contact with the user (e.g. e-mail address) and demographic information (e.g. age, gender, size of town).

The information provided in the form is used by us for necessary contacts with our users and to better adapt the content and advertisements we present to their needs and interests. Demographic data (e.g. age, gender, size of town) may also be combined with selected operational data (e.g. saved in cookies) and used to study user preferences and improve the quality of the services we provide, but the data compiled is devoid of in this case, any identifying markings (anonymization) and are stored for no longer than 1 month.

How is information protected?

All logins, sending forms and access to our resources are carried out using the secure SSL protocol, which significantly increases the protection of data transmission on the Internet. The information is stored and processed by us with appropriate security measures that meet the requirements of Polish law.

Is the personal information provided shared with other entities?

Our website contains or will contain services (e.g. commenting via a plug-in) in which content entered by the user (e.g. opinions, questions, etc.) becomes publicly available. The user may publish his/her content on these websites only after authorization and decides how the content is to be signed.

Based on the information obtained, we prepare collective statistical summaries, which are disclosed to third parties. Such summaries do not contain data allowing the identification of individual users.

Freedom of choice

We give our users the opportunity to choose whether and to what extent they want to use the services and share information about themselves. Most of our services are available without the need to provide information about yourself, only some services and websites require registration. Subscribing to us is a voluntary decision of the user and he may unsubscribe at any time and delete his profile in whole or in part.

Our goal is to provide the most extensive protection possible. The development of technology and the development of our offer mean that our privacy policy may undergo changes, which we will inform about on these pages.
